William Moser, son of Lloyd and Darlene (Payton) Moser, was born March 31, 1958 in Emmetsburg. He received his education in West Bend, graduating from West Bend High School in 1976. Bill became known as “Buck” to his family and friends. He drove truck for many years until he met Kim.
In 2015 Buck was united in marriage to Kim Moser in Emmetsburg. They made their home in Cylinder where they owned and operated the Rack Shack for several years before purchasing KimBuck’s Cuisine in Emmetsburg. They ran the restaurant, did catering and also prepared and delivered meals for Elderbridge for ten years. Some of the communities they served included Emmetsburg, Estherville, Storm Lake, Sibley, Ocheyedan, and Spencer. Buck was making 240 meals a day.
Buck loved spending time with his family and he had a soft spot in his heart for animals. He seemed to always have a cat around and he enjoyed the 19 years he had with his miniature dachshund. Buck loved being around people and having a good time. He made two trips to Las Vegas where he had a great time. Buck was always there for others. He cared for Kim and helped her a great deal on her road to recovery following her surgery.
