Helen Phelan Augustine was born March 25, 1930 and died June 26, 2023.
Helen was a flight attendant, school teacher, Cordon Bleu Graduate, culinary teacher, world traveler, pilot, and author.
Helen lead a remarkable life that took her far from her family farm in Emmetsburg. Helen’s love for the land brought her back to her farm that would become a Century Farm in 2017. For Helen it was her "Field of Dreams".
She is survived by her daughters Sandra and Margaret Augustine.
A private memorial is to be held on her farm Saturday, July 22, 2023.
