Patrick Leo Molloy, son of Maurice (Bud) and Marguerite was born in Emmetsburg on December 17th, 1946. He received his education in Emmetsburg and graduated from Emmetsburg Catholic High School in 1964. After finishing school, Pat worked for a while before entering the Army. He served his country for two years and was stationed in Germany. Pat’s love of working outdoors later took him to more favorable weather in the southern states. There, he met a lovely lady named Lucille and they were happily together for the last fifteen years.
Pat’s health had declined over the last couple of years and he passed away on Saturday, November 1st. There to meet him in heaven were his parents, Bud and Marguerite, his sister MaryAnn Verbik, his brothers-in-law Pat Kliegl, Woody Egermayer, Walt Verbik, Ray Nelle, and Bob Orth, and many aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are Lucille, Maureen Kliegl of Emmetsburg, Jim and Judy Molloy of Conrad, Margaret Nelle, Jean Egermayer, Mary Jo Orth all of Omaha, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be at a later date.
