He managed church building projects, sang in his church choir (most recently at Incarnation Lutheran in Shoreview) and served as President of North Oaks Golf Club. He was a loving husband and wonderful father. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Orv is preceded in death by Elaine, his wife of 62 years. He is survived by their 4 sons - Paul (Katie), Mark (Tamara), Eric (Laura), David (Erica), 11 grandchildren – Erin Warner (Brenen), Daniel, Benjamin (Taylor), Thomas, David (Jamie), Lindsey, Megan Kramer (Matt), Maddie, Hannah, Emma and Trip and 6 great-grandchildren – Henley, Weston, Wyatt, Oliver, James, and Rory.
