H. B. Worley
1945-2020
H.B. came to Palo Alto County in 1967. Ed Thomas of Cylinder taught him vehicle body repair, and then he worked in the shops of Justin Thompson and Ken Krause for several years. H.B and Linda Haack were married in Depew on June 20, 1970. After they moved to the Des Moines area, H.B. was an insurance adjuster-appraiser for over 40 years.
Death called H.B. in mid-morning on Oct. 24, 2020, in Johnston Hospice. He had asked that his body be donated to the College of Medicine, University of Iowa. Burial will be in Minburn beside his wife, who died Jan. 25, 2014.
H.B. is survived by his children and their families: Scott, Nicole Short, Christopher, and Kari Lantz; brother, Ronald; and many relatives and friends.
