KEOKUK -- Rosemary “Rose” Groleau, 68, of Keokuk, formerly of Weeping Water, NE died Monday, April 5, 2021 at Southeast Iowa Behavioral Health Center in Keokuk.

She was born Jan. 20, 1953 in Talladega, AL the daughter of Vernon Illens-worth and Mary Ethel Hurst Watts Davis.

Rose enjoyed dancing, singing, crafts and shopping at thrift stores. She also enjoyed colorful hair and clothes. Her Christian faith was an active and vital part of her life. Rose was a generous and loving woman who treasured her family and the life they shared.

She is survived by one daughter, Roseann Groleau Schutz of Mallard; four sons, Joshua James Groleau of Weeping Water, NE, Andrew James Groleau of Omaha, NE, Bobby Lou Groleau of Springville, and Jermia Casper Groleau of Springville; four grandchildren, Alexander James Wolfe of Mallard, Cory James and Jacob Scott Groleau both of Weeping Water, NE and Adeline Rose Williams of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by four sisters, Julia Glen Davis and Marion Denise Gilbert both of Las Vegas, NV, Donna Faye Cinco of Coventry, RI and Deborah Ann Ordaz of Munda Part, AZ and two brothers, Jimmy Ross Davis of Shelbyville, TN and Woody Allen Davis of Long Beach, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no services.

The Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk is assisting the family with arrangements.
