Cross Country Teams Compete in Humboldt

The Emmetsburg E-Hawk and West Bend-Mallard Wolverine Cross Country harriers would compete in Humboldt on Monday, Sept. 21.
Emmetsburg’s varsity girls would earn eighth place overall out of 18 teams, finishing with 223 points and an average time of 25:07, while the varsity boys would finish 19th, earning 461 points and averaging a time of 22:31.
Two runners would finish in the top 25 for the E-Hawk girls – Izzy Householder in 18th with a time of 23:14 and Isabel Doyle in 25th with a time of 23:40.
Fabian Bowman would lead the E-Hawk boys, finishing in 53rd with a time of 20:10.
The West Bend-Mallard varsity girls would earn a 12th place finish, with Julia Fehr placing 13th in 22:35 and Rachel Fehr earning 19th place in 23:21.
Emmetsburg Cross Country will next compete at the Estherville Lincoln Central Invitational on Thursday, Oct. 1, while the Wolverines head to Algona on Monday, Sept. 28.
