Lady E-Hawks Run At Okoboji
MILFORD – Emmetsburg’s Lady E-Hawks got on the track Monday night to run in the Okoboji Relays. Emmetsburg would come away with a fourth place finish in the team standings Monday evening.
For the Lady E-Hawks, the action started in the 100 meter dash, where Lindsay Carter was tied for 11th in :14.73 and Melody Goodman placed 13th in :15.90.
In the 200 meter dash, Taylor Steinkamp finished fourth in :28.22, while Mary Nelson finished 12th in :30.39.
The 400 meter dash say Morgan Jamison finished eighth in 1:14.09 and Courtney Wurzer finished tenth with a 1:16.20 clocking.
In the 800 meter run, Raven Brown placed fourth in 2:48.33 and Gabrielle Janssen finished seventh in a time of 2:54.60. For the 1500 meter run, Raven Brown finished fourth in 5>47.70 and Raylene Poeppe placed eighth in 6:22.20. For the 3000 meter dash, Gabrielle Janssen earned second place with a 12:49.25 clocking and Issy Householder finished fourth in a time of 13:13.95.
Ali Laubenthal won the 100 meter hurdles in :16.87 and Hailey Foxhoven placed fifth in a time of :17.48.
In the 400 hurdles, Brielle Madden was fourth in 1:17.43 and Hailey Foxhoven finished fifth in 1:17.75.
The Lady E-Hawks’ 4×100 relay finished seventh in :58.13 and the 4×200 relay finished fourth in 1:59.19. The 4×400 relay earned a third place finish in 4:36.03 and the 4×800 relay place fourth in 11:34.69.
The Sprint Medley Relay would finish sixth with a time of 2:09.25 and the Shuttle Hurdle Relay finished second in 1:12.10.
In the high jump, Ali Laubenthal placed sixth, clearing 4’6″.
For the long jump, Courtney Wurzer would win with a jump of 14’10”, while Taylor Steinkamp finished eighth by jumping 13’7.25″.
Annie Brennan placed second in the shot put, throwing 34’1.5″ and Rebecca Licht placed sixth, throwing 29’3″.
