GT/RA Manhandles Harris-Lake Park

LAKE?PARK – The grinding rushing attack of the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans was the key in a 46-27 win over Harris-Lake Park Friday night. The win gives the Titans a 3-2 mark in Eight-Man District One and 5-2 overall mark.

Under the field guidance of quarterback Jacob Conlon, the Titans would run the football with great efficiency. GT/RA racked up 183 yards on the ground and 154 yards through the air for a 437-yard effort, while H-LP was limited to 256 total offensive yards.

Jacob Conlon would once again provide the spark for the Titans’ game, as he rushed the ball 20 times to gain 182 yards, scoring two touchdowns, including a 45-yard scoring run. Conlon would also complete nine of 13 passes in the contest for 142 yards and three touchdowns, including a 21-yard scoring strike to Kolton Roth. Roth would carry the ball 16 times to gain 64 yards in the game, while Chris Conlon added three rushes for 24 yards. Nate Larson made two carries for 10 yards and Spencer Roth carried the ball one time for three yards.

Jace Naig made three receptions for 58 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown catch, while Chris Conlon made three catches for a total of 40 yards. Jacob Conlon caught a halfback pass from Kolton Roth for 12 yards, while Nate Larson had a 12-yard catch for a touchdown and Tommy Geelan caught an 11-yard pass in the effort.

Nate Larson would lead the defensive effort on the night with nine and a half tackles, as well as a quarterback sack, while Kolton Roth made eight and a half tackles with a sack. Lucas Hoffman added seven tackles but made two quarterback sacks, while Chris Conlon also made seven tackles with a quarterback sack to his credit.

Spencer Roth would recover a fumble for the Titans to round out the defensive effort.

The final regular season game for the Titans of Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire will be this Friday evening in Graettinger as the Wolverines of West Bend-Mallard/Gilmore City-Bradgate visit the Titans for Parents’ Night.
