Wolverine Harriers Compete At Pocahontas Invitational

POCAHONTAS – The Wolverine and Lady Wolverine cross country teams of West Bend-Mallard/Gilmore City-Bradgate competed Saturday in the Pocahontas Area Invitational meet and earned very respectable finishes.

Fro the Lady Wolverines, Julia Fehr would lead the effort with a time of 23:32.80, good for a 22nd place finish. Hannah Laddusaw would finish in 39th place with her time of 25:37.35 and Brook Haley earned a 51st place finish with a time of 31:06.38.

For the Junior Varsity, Morgan Schmidt would finish in 12th place with a time of 28:45.27, with Abi Hoffman earning a 14th place finish in 29:25.24. Jennifer Ramirez would round out the girls’ efforts with a time of 46:12.41 to finish 20th.

The Wolverine boys team earned a 14th place finish in the team race with 198 points.

Meres Lindeman would lead the Wolverine boys with a 25th place finish in a time of 19:47.12. Mason Link would turn in a time of 20:11.25, while Nolan Ford was 34th in a time of 20:27.43.

Nolan Blair finished 54th in 22:00.71 and Connor Fehr was a step behind, finishing 55th in 20:00.95, while Anthony Santiago placed 66th in a time of 26:42.79.
