Lady E-Hawks Claim In-County Matchup Over GT/RA

Emmetsburg’s Lady E-Hawks earned the unofficial in-county volleyball title Monday night with a 3-1 victory over Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire. The Lady E-Hawks would take the match by game scores of 25-19, 26-24, 15-25 and 25-21 over the Titans to improve to 4-13 overall on the season, while GT/RA?moved to 6-9 on the year.

For the Lady E-Hawks, Molly Schany made 42 attacks on the night and came away with 15 kills, as well as one dig and one block. Parker Traub would make 32 attacks and collected 16 kills, while handing out 26 assists and digging out eight shots, as well as connecting on 14 of 14 serves with a pair of aces.

Abbie Schany would make 16 attacks with seven kills, and dug out 12 shots whilie handing out one assist and assisting on a pair of blocks.

Gretchen Hofstad made 14 attacks and ended up with five kills, as well as 11 digs and two assists, but connected on 22 of 23 service attempts with two aces.

Emma Anderson added 12 attacks with four kills, made four digs and dished out six assists.Morgan Jamison would add 11 attacks with three kills, one dig, two blocks and added 12 of 14 serves with two aces.

Lindsay Carter added 19 digs and two assists, with 15 of 18 serves and three aces, while Brielle Madden came away with 10 of 12 serves and Macy McAllister handed out 13 assists, with three digs and nine of 10 serves.

For Graettinger-Terril/ Ruthven-Ayrshire, Toni Alesch would make 31 attacks and tallied 10 kills, with six digs, three blocks and 14 of 14 serves on the night.

Kylea Fehr came away with 25 attacks and seven kills, with 15 digs and 15 of 15 serves with two aces.

Emma Heinrichs made 21 attacks and collected nine kills, with 13 digs and 11 of 13 serves with three aces to her credit.

Anna Sorenson made 19 attacks and had four kills, with three digs and one block, while Madison Hough added 19 attacks with four kills and added two digs and a block to the effort.

Madison Norris would make 12 attacks and had five kills, but dug out nine shots and handed out 38 assists to her teammates, while blocking one shot and connecting on 15 and 16 serves with two aces.

Chloe Bakken added five attacks with 15 digs and made 10 of 12 serves with two aces and Taylor Park added two attacks with 28 digs and added 18 of 18 serves with one ace to round out the effort.
