Titan Girls Defeat Clay Central-Everly

TERRIL – The Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire girls resumed their basketball season Thursday with a 55-17 thrashing of Clay Central-Everly.

The Titans took a 10-4 lead after the opening quarter of play and extended their lead to 21-12 at the intermission. In the third quarter, GT/RA’s defense limited the Mavericks to just two points as the Titans extended their lead to 34-14 to start the final quarter. Down the stretch, GT/RA would outscore CC-E 21-3 to cruise to the 55-17 final margin of victory.

The Titans were lead by Madison Norris with 15 points, while Toni Alesch added 11 markers and Emma Heinrichs scored 10 points. Madison Hough added five points, with Anna Sorenson and Becky Noah both scoring three points each and Taylor Park, Kylea Fehr, chloe Bakken and Emma Feldhacker all scoring two points each in the winning effort.
