Lady E-Hawks Fifth At Spencer Track Meet

SPENCER?- Emmetsburg’s Lady E-Hawks placed fifth at Friday’s Girls Special in Spencer.

The Lady E-Hawks were paced by the 4×800 relay, as the foursome of Rachel Berkland, Jordan Hoyman, Kate Jackson and Shelby Loomis, earned a second place finish with a 10:42.60 clocking. Emmetsburg’s 4×200 relay, with Bailey Naig, Mary Nelson, Shelby Loomis and Rachel Berkland, took third place with a 1:58.34 effort and in the high jump, Rachel Berkland placed third by clearing 4’6“.

The 4×100 relay group of Bailey Naig, Kate Jackson, Shelby Loomis and Rachel Berkland earned fourth place with a :55.91 clcoking, while the Distance Medley quartet ifKiersten Duhn, Ali Laubenthal, Cierra McAllister and Melody Goodman turned in a 5:21.10 to place fourth and in the Discus, Kayla Joyce finished fourth by throwing 106’5″.

The Sprint Medley relay group of Kiersten Duhn, Olivia Hampe, Kayla Joyce and Mary Nelson would finish fifth with a time of 2:11:33, while Kayla Joyce earned sixth in the shot put with a throw of 31’4.25″ and Olivia Hampe finished sixth in the discus, throwing 90’5″.

Bailey Naig would finish seventh in the long jump, leaping 13’4″ ad Ali Laubenthal earned seventh place in the High Jump, clearing 4’2″. Jordan Lange would finish seventh in the100 meter dash with a time of :14;54 and NAtalee Lowe finished the 200 meter dash in :32.79 to finish seventh.

Ali Laubenthal earned eighth place in the 100 meter hurdles with a :19.51 clocking and then finished eighth in the 100 meter dash with a time of :14.88, while Jordan Hoyman ran a 1:22.09 to finish eighth in the 400 meter hurdle event.

Mary Nelson finished ninth in the long jump, leaping 13′ and Jordan Lange finished ninth in the 800 meter run with a 3;08.03 clocking. Cierra McAllister finished tenth in the 1500 meter run with a time of 6:05.36. Melody Goodman earned 11th place in the 200 meter dash with a :35.05 effort and Olivia Hampe finished 12th in the shot put, throwing 27’3″ to round out the performances.
