GT/RA Titans Set Records At Alta-Aurelia Relays

GRAETTINGER?- The Titans of Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire competed Tuesday night in action at the Alta-Aurelia relays. The Titans earned a fourth place finish.

Once again, Jacob Conlon provided leadership for the Titans as he earned second place in the 1600 meter run, setting a new school record wit his timeo f 4:56.

Eric Sundall would also earn a second place finish on the day in the 400 meter hurdles, as he turned in a time of :60.57.

In addition, the Titans’ 4×800 relay, comprised of Jared Sikora, Chris Conlon, Eric Sundall and Jake Conlon set a new school record as they finished second in 8:58.

The Medley Relay would earn a third place finish, as the foursome of Nate Larson, Kolton Roth, Marc Olle and Jake Conlon turned in a time of 4:07 for their placing.

Michael Girres earned a pair of fourth place finishes in the 100 meter dash with an :11.7 clocking and the 200 meter dash in :24.12.

The Shuttle hurdle relay, with Jared Sikora, Noah Stukey, Andy Geelan and Eric Sundall finished fourth in 1:14 and the 4×100 relay squad comprised of Nate Larson, Kolton Roth, Jared Sikora and Michael Girres finished in :48.09 to finish fourth.

Cole Hagedorn set a new school record in the discus, throwing 125’1/2″ to finish fifth, and also earned fifth in the shot put with a throw of 42’4″. Kolton Roth earned fifth in the 110 high hurdles with a time of :17.96 and Chris Conlon placed fifth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:16.

The 4×400 relay, with Marc Olle, Chris Conlon, Eric Sundall and Jake Conlon finished fifth with a time of 3:52.

Rounding out the efforts were Chris Conlon in the long jump, finishing sixth with a leap of 16’10.5″, along with Michael Girres placing sixth in the shot put with a throw of 41’1/2″. Marc Olle earned a sixth place finish in the 400 meter dash with a time of ;56.35 and Linus Albrecht earned sixth in the 3200 meter run in 12:50..

“Cole Hagedorn continues to show improvement every meet in both the shot and disc and broke his disc record,” noted Titans Head Coach David Peterson. “Jacob Conlon continues to lead our team setting school records in the 1600 meter and anchoring the school record 4×800 as well as the third place Medley and the fifth place 4×400 relay.”
