The Emmetsburg E-Hawks, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans and West Bend-Mallard/Gilmore City-Bradgate Wolverines will all journey to West Hancock High School in Britt to wrestle in the Class 1A Sectional.

Teams wrestling at Britt this Saturday along with the E-Hawks, Titans and Wolverines will include Belmond-Klemme, Eagle Grove, North Union, South Hamilton and the host West Hancock Eagles.

Under the Iowa High School Athletic Association tournament format, all first and second place finishers at Sectional tournaments earn the right to advance to the District tournament, which is set for Saturday, Feb. 13, at Manson Northwest Webster High School.

First and second place finishers at the District meet qualify to compete at the 2016 State Wrestling Championships at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Feb. 18-20.

Additionally, the team that wins the team championship qualifies for Dual Team competition. The Regional Dual Team meet will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at a site to be determined.
