Emmetsburg’s Lady E-Hawks closed out their home season Tuesday night with a 3-0 win over Storm Lake in Lakes Conference Volleyball action on Senior Night. The win gives Emmetsburg a 3-4 mark in league play and 9-19 overall mark as they prepare to close out the regular season this Saturday at the Storm?Lake tournament.

Emmetsburg would battle on their way to take the match by game scores of 25-21, 25-19 and 25-15.

For Emmetsburg, Bailey Naig ripped the nets for 20 of 21 hits with four kills, while adding 10 of 10 serves, a blocked shot and three digs. Parker Traub added 18 of 20 hits with 10 kills and connected on four of six serves with one block, two digs and an assist.

Kate Jackson finished the night with 14 of 16 hits and two kills, along with 13 of 13 serves, one block, three digs and an assist. Rachel Berkland added 12 of 13 hits with two kills and a block and Kayla Joyce contributed 10 of 13 hits with five kills, and blocked one shot.

Sarah Pugh would make one hit for a kill, and connected on 19 of 20 serves with four aces, while digging out seven shots and handing out 20 assists. Allison Freeman added 15 of 16 serves and dug out three shots, while Cierra McAllister added eight of nine serves with a dig and Sarah Simington chipped in a dig.
