Scott was inducted during the annual Vail Softball Association’s Hall of Fame Tournament.

“There is a lot of strong tradition here, and I’d like to thank Matt (Kelly) for keeping that alive. I’m glad to see the sport continuing. We had a lot of good times and camaraderie,”?Scott noted during the induction ceremonies.

“Mike was truly a student of the game,” noted 2014 Hall of Fame inductee Kevin Luft. “He was one of the best bunters I’ve ever seen.”

Scott was also “roasted” by fellow players and Hall of Fame inductees.
