GRAETTINGER -Some untimely turnovers hurt Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire in a 20-0 loss to North Iowa on Friday night. The loss drops the Titans to 1-4 in district play and 1-6 overall on the season.

The Bison of North Iowa took an early 6-0 lead after the opening quarter of play on Friday night in Graettinger which put the Titans in a hole they would be unable to dig out of.

Every time GT/RA?was able to start any type of offensive push, an interception or fumble would kill the drive. A scoreless second quarter saw both teams exchange possessions and field position without any prolonged offensive drives for the 6-0 tally at the intermission.

In the third quarter, North Iowa would tally another touchdown to take a 12-0 lead, giving the Titans hope for a late rally. But in the final quarter, turnovers would once again doom GT/RA, as the Bison would score once again and ran in the conversion to take the 20-0 decision.

For the Titans, Carter Williamson fought hard to gain 41 yards off 14 rushing attempts, while Blaze Alesch added seven carries for 38 yards and Kyle Dalen added four rushes for six yards.

Blaze Alesch completed eight of 20 passes for 67 yards with two picks. Kyle Dalen made four catches for 35 yards, with Garrett Parker making two catches for 21 yards and Trevor Hagedorn had a catch for six yards.

Ryan Jacks would intercept one pass for the Titans in the contest.
