Lady E-Hawk Netters Fall To Spirt Lake

Emmetsburg’s Lady E-Hawks showed some moments of great play Tuesday night but couldn’t string enough of them together in a 3-0 loss to Spirit Lake. Game scores were 15-25, 14-25 and 15-25.

Michaela Rehm would come away with six digs on the night and was perfect at the serving line with 15 of 15 attempts finding their mark.

Miranda Vlasman would come up with 19 of 20 hits at the net with two kills, along with two of three serves, an assisted block and six digs on the night. Ashton Connelly added nine of nine serves with two aces and made five of 10 hits, but added a solo block.

Whitney Kibbie came away with eight of eight serves and 10 of 16 hits with two kills while digging out seven shots and handing out two assists.

Alexa Naig made three of four serves and seven of nine hits with a kill while assisting on a block. Naig also had five digs and handed out five assists.

Devyn White made her first varsity start of the season and came up with seven of 12 hits with two kills. Also making a varsity start was Taylor Knight, who e added two of two hits with a kill to the effort.

Jacque Carlson completed three of four serves and two of three hits with a kill and added one dig. Kendall Deitering added a dig to the effort.

Emmetsburg travels to LeMars Thursday and returns home Tuesday night.
