Lady E-Hawks Compete At Sheryl Maahs Relays

Emmetsburg’s Lady E-Hawks competed last Tuesday in the Sheryl Maahs Relays at Spirit Lake and continued to improve their times as the regular season winds down.

Several of the Lady E-Hawk relays earned third place finishes, starting with the 4×100 relay, comprised of Jayme Penrod, Hadley Egland, Alexa Naig and Emily Bonnstetter, finished with a time of :54.27. Also placing third was the Shuttle Hurdle Relay, with Naig, Aly Berven, Penrod and Egland, as they were clocked at 1:17.09. The 4×200 relay, with Penrod, Mikki Mundus, Naig and Bonnstetter would finish third in a time of 1:56.87, while the Sprint Medley relay, with Penrod, Mundus, Bonnstetter and Caroline Fantz, placed third with a time of 2:01.75.

Hadley Egland would earn fourth place in the 100 meter hurdles with an :18.31 clocking, while Britni Will took fourth in the discus with a throw of 93’9″. The 4×800 relay, comprised of Maura Soukup, Madison Reimer, Tara Harris and Taylor Reimer finished fourth in a time of 11:55.21 and the Distance Medley relay, with Egland, Naig, Bonnstetter and Fantz, placed fourth with a time of 4:55.79.

In the discus, Jacque Carlson placed fifth with a throw of 83’1″, while Teegan Olson took fifth in the shot put with a throw of 26”9″. Mikki Mundus finished fourth in the 100 meter dash with a time of :14.64 and then finished fifth in the 200 meter dash with a time of :30.207.

Jacque Carlson finished sixth in the shot put with a throw of 26’6.75″, while Rachel Ruddy finished sixth in the 200 meter dash with a time of :33.38. Caroline Fantz finished the 800 meter run in 2:45.97 to take sixth place, while Tara Harris was sixth in the 1500 meters with her clocking of 6:03.29. Aly Berven took sixth place in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of :18.48, while Rachel Ruddy finished seventh in the long jump with a leap of 14’4″, and then finished seventh in the 100 meter dash with a time of :15.52 and Taylor Reimer finished fifth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:47.21.

For the junior varsity entries, Hadley Egland finished fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of :35.99, while Madison Riemer took fourth in the 100 meter dash with a time of :16.03 and Maura Soukup was fourth in the 800 meter run with a time of 3:02.09. Whitney Kibbie placed fifth in the 200 meter dash with a time of :36.10 and Hayley Gore-Harris placed sixth in the 100 meter dash with a time of :17.03.
