Lady E-Hawks Compete At Tomahawk Relays
CHEROKEE – Emmetsburg’s Lady E-Hawks continued to improve their performances at the Tomahawk Relays on Tuesday, April 3.
The Sprint Medley relay would earn a second place finish with a 2:03.26 clocking to pace the Lady E-Hawks’ efforts, while the Distance Medley relay took a third place finish with a time of 4:43.49 and the Shuttle Hurdle relay also earned a third place with its time of 1:16.74.
Jacque Carlson earned a fourth place finish in the discus with a throw of 92′ while teammate Britni Will finished seventh with a throw of 87’5″. In the shot put, Carlson threw 28’4″ to place seventh and Will threw 23’7″ to place 14th overall.
Rachel Ruddy earned a ninth place finish in the long jump with her leap of 13’9.25″ and finished 12th in the 100 meter dash with a time of :14.56, while teammate Mikki Mundus was 13th overall with her time of :14.62 in the 100 meter dash.
Hadley Egland finished 16th in the 200 meter dash with a time of :30.44 and Taylor Knight was 18th in the 200 with a :31.51 clocking, and then finished 17th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:14.54.
Aly Berven would finish seventh overall in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of :18.52. In the 800 meter run, Taylor Reimer finished with a time of 2:50.16, goo for 12th place, while Tara Harris placed 13th in the 1500 meter run with a time of 6:31.67.
The 4×100 relay would earn a seventh place finish with its’ time of :58.03, while the 4×200 relay finished seventh with a time of 2:00 and the 4×800 relay would finish eighth with a time of 11:47.76.
The Lady E-Hawks will run at Spencer on Friday.
