WBM/TRV?Relay Earns All State Honors

DES?MOINES – The 2011 West Bend-Mallard/Twin River Valley 4×100 girls relay has been accorded All State Honors. The relay, which competed at the 2011 Iowa State Track and Field Championships in May, was named to the Class 1A All-State Track Team, announced by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

The relay ended with a time of 51.35, second to Manson Northwest Webster who had the winning time of 50.51.

The same relay also took their 4×200 relay to the state meet and finished fifth finish with a time of 1:49.7.

The foursome consisted of sophomores Kenzie Grimm and Meredith Collins, along with junior Kayla Lempke and senior Shayla Simms. Grim, Lempke and Collins ers will return for the 2012 season for WBM/TRV.
