For E-Hawk Coach Kort Freeman, the day’s results were about more than just the scorecards. “The rain was coming in sideways last Thursday at Lake Creek. I think our kids battled well on a course that they have not had the opportunity to play before. Lake Creek is a very tough course on a good day so having to play it in the conditions that we were in was extremely tough. Also, I am very impressed with our Junior Varsity. We have some kids that are absolutely ready to step in when ever needed.”
The E-Hawks were scheduled to play at Estherville Lincoln Central on Monday and are slated to play this Saturday, april 23, at the Spirit Lake Invitational at Brooks National Golf Course.
