Emmetsburg Senior Nick Wuebker earned more post season basketball honors recently by being named to the 2011 Class 2A All State-All Region Team. The honors are bestowed following voting by member coaches of the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association.

Wuebker, the son of Wayne and Karen Wuebker, paced the E-Hawks this season. A four-year standout,The 6’9″ Wuebker averaged 14.8 points per game in the regular season with 311 points. He added 185 rebounds, dished out 28 assists, made 11 steals and blocked 40 shots. Wuebker hit 64.7 of his shots and 56 percent of his free throws.
