By Staff | Jan 27, 2011

RUTHVEN – A road trip to Everly resulted in a 40-24 setback for the Raider girls of Ruthven-Ayrshire. Cold shooting and tough defense from Clay Central-Everly combined to make it a long offensive night for Coach Trenton Keefer’s ball club.

Sadie Forey would lead Ruthven-Ayrshire’s offensive efforts on Tuesday with seven points. Alesha Sikora and Keely Williamson would follow up with four points each in the contest, while Emily Moran scored three points. Caitlyn Reed, Shyanne Zaragosa and Marly Bakken all scored two points in the game.

Defensively, the Raiders got seven rebounds from Sadie Forey, along with two blocks. Caitlyn Reed added five boards and a steal, while Marly Bakken snared four rebounds and Shyanne Zaragosa made two steals and handed out two helpers to her teammates in the contest.
