Cornbelt Conference Announces All Conference Honors

Several Palo Alto County volleyball players earned post-season recognition for their play in the Cornbelt Conference during the 2010 net season. The Cornbelt Conference announced their all-conference teams for the 2010 volleyball season following balloting by the league coaches.

Players from West Bend-Mallard, Graettinger/Terril and Ruthven-Ayrshire earned recognition on the teams for their play during the season.

For the West Bend-Mallard Lady Wolverines,Jessica Fehr was First Team All Conference selection. Earning Second Team honors for the Lady Wolverines was Courtney Bargman, while McKenzie Grimm was accorded Honorable Mention recognition by the league coaches.

Earning recognition for the Knights of Graettinger/Terril was Lindsay Flaharty, who received First Team Honors, while Nikki Brown received Second Team recongtion. Honorable Mention honors were bestowed on Morgan Mortenson to round out the Graettinger/Terril honorees.

For Ruthven-Ayrshire’s Raiders, Sadie Forey was accorded Second Team recognition by the conference coaches, while Alesha Sikora earned Honorable Mention recognition for the Raiders.
