E-Hawks Grounded In 13-4 Loss

HULL – Emmetsburg’s E-Hawks were dealt a 13-4 loss at the hands of Western Christian of Hull on Wednesday night in Lakes Conference baseball action. The E-Hawks’ Jake Carlson was charged with the loss in the contest, as he surrendered 12 runs, five earned, off 10 hits in five innings of work. He issued six walks and struck out one batter. Brady Berkland relieved in the sixth and gave up an earned run off one hit, with one strikeout.

Jake Jackson would come up with a two-RBI double, while Austin Dunnick issued a two-RBI single.  Tyler Henderson and Jake Carlson both added singles to the effort.

The E-Hawks host ELC tonight (Tuesday).
