E-Hawks’ Golf Season Ends At 2A Sectional

E-HAWK?GOLFERS - Emmetsburg’s E-Hawk golf squad saw their 2010 campaign come to a close Friday at the Class 2A Sectional Tournament in Arnolds Park. ARNOLDS?PARK – For the Emmetsburg E-Hawks, a fourth place finish was the end result of their day in the Class 2A Sectional at Arnolds Par, and ended the 2010 golf season for the E-Hawks.

The 2A Sectional at Emerald Hills in Arnolds Park saw Unity Christian of Orange City earn top honors with a 309, while host team Okoboji was second with a 315 and Sioux Center took third with a 336, leaving the E-Hawks a fourth place finish with a 355 stroke total.

The E-Hawks were led pm the day by Ben McCain’s 83 stroke total, while Ryan Ballman turned in an 89 stroke total. Arthur Heldt shot 90 over 18 holes, while Nate Brown carded a 93. Justin Kibbie added a 94 and Tyler Clasing rounded out the effort with a 101 stroke total for the E-Hawks.
