Wolverines Third At Conference Track
West Bend-Mallard’s Wolverines earned a third place finish at the Cornbelt Conference Track Meet Tuesday, finishing behind Clay Central-Everly and Armstrong-Ringsted.
The Wolverines’ 4×200 relay, with Clay Douglas, Logan Streit, Tanner Bruellman and Ethan Fehr won with a 1:39.6 time, while the Medley Relay, with Mitch Bonnstetter, Logan Streit, Tanner Bruellman and Aaron Montag, also took first with a time of 4:01.7.
Jack Riesenberg was second in the 3200 meter run with a time of 11:10.6 and Clay Douglas took second in the long jump, leaping 17’8”. The 4×400 relay, with Mitch Bonnstetter, Jack Riesenberg, Ethan Fehr and Tanner Bruellman also finished second in 3:52.
The WBM 4×800 relay, with Cody Hulbrich, Kurt Banwart, Dustin Johnson and Aaron Montag took third place honors with a time of 9:36 and the 4×100 relay, comprised of Ethan Fehr, Logan Streit, Tanner Bruellman and Mitch Bonnstetter, took third with a :47.2 clocking.
The Wolverines’ Shuttle Hurdle Relay, with Jack Riesenberg, Sean Riesenberg, Jordan Knobloch and Ben Jacobson, took fourth in a time of 1:13.8 and Ethan Fehr finished fifth in the 100 meter dash with his effort of :12.0. Fehr also competed in the shot put, throwing 39’5” for a fifth place finish.
Jared Hauck took sixth place honors in the 3200 meter run with a time of 12:21, while Kurt Banwart finished sixth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:02.
Jack Riesenberg placed sixth in the 1600 meter run with a 5:22 clocking and Sean Riesenberg was sixth in the 110 high hurdles with an :18.3 time.
