Lady E-Hawks Third At Sheryl Maahs Relays

SPIRIT?LAKE?- Emmetsburg’s Lady E-Hawks earned a third place finish in Tuesday’s Sheryl Maahs Relays at Spirit Lake.

Blake Schany earned a championship for the Lady E-Hawks in the 400 meter hurdles with her time of 1:10, while Rachael Moore won the 800 meter run in a time of 2:436.52. The Distance Medley Relay team, Maddison ?Woodruff, Nicole Leuer, Blake Schany and Rachael Moore, took first place honors with their time of 4:38.05 and Rachael Moore added a second place finish in the 1500 meter run with a time of 5:27.71.

 The Lady E-Hawks’ 4×400 relay, with Shelby Brindley, Maddison Woodruff, Whitney Kibbie and Blake Schany, finished third with a 4:36.08 effort, while the 4×100, with Jordan Kerber, Katie Malm, Maddison Woodruff and Nicole Leuer took fourth in :54.05 while the 4×200, with Maddison Woodruff, Katie Malm, Kaity Degen and Morgan Vlasman, took fourth in th 1:55.41.

Emmetsburg’s Sprint Medley Relay, with Jordan Kerber, Nicole Leuer, Maddison Woodruff and Kaity Degen finished fourth with a 2:01.46 effort. The Lady E-Hawks’ 4×800 relay finished fourth in 11:55.97  while Jordan Kerber finished fourth in the 100 meter dash in a time of :13.34 and Morgan Vlasman took fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of :28.9.

Kaitlin Wesibrod place fifth in the 400 meter dash in a time of :68.28, while Morgan Vlasman was fifth in the high jump, clearing 4’6”. Jordan Morris placed sixth in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of :17.24, and Nichole Hasbrouck placed sixth in the discus, throwing 102’8”.

Whitney Kibbie would earn an eighth place finish for Emmetsburg in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of :17.42 and then took eighth place in the 200 meter dash with a time of :30.52.

The Lady E-Hawks will host their own invitational track meet this afternoon (Thursday).
