Lady Wolverines Third At Larsen Relays
WEST?BEND – The Lady Wolverines of West Bend-Mallard earned a third place finish on Thursday at the John Larson Relays at Armstrong, which were sponsored by North Sentral Kossuth.
Missy Abrahamson earned a pair of first place finishes, taking the title in the shot with a throw of 36’4’ and the discus with a throw of 110’5” and Kayla Banwart won the Long Jump by leaping 14’4.75”.
Brooke Bennett took second in the 3000 meter run with a time of 12:30.68 and second in the 1500 meter run with a 5:41.45, while Kenzie Grimm was second in the 200 meter dash in a time of :28.13 and the 4×100 relay, with Jenny Auten, Megan Foth, Kaley Lempke and Kenzie Grimm, took second in :54.60 for the Lady Wolverines.
Meredith Collins took third in the 100 meter dash with a :13.51 effort, while the 4×800 relay, with Sarah Berte, Cassie Schneider, Haley Banwart and Sara Foley, took third in a time of 13:09.44. The 4×200 relay, with Kaley Lempke, Megan Foth, Meredith Collins and Kenzie Grimm, also finished third in a time of 1:55.48 and the Sprint Medley Relay, with Kaley Lempke, Megan Foth, Wendy Grimm and Kayla Banwart, took third place with their 2:06.57 time.
Bailey Cavanaugh earned fourth place honors in the 400 hurdles by turning in a time of :80.15 and the 4×400 relay, comprised of Missy Abrahamson, Kenzie Grimm, Wendy Grimm and Erin Larsen, took fourth place with a time of 4:40.89.
Haley Hiscocks finished fifth in the shot with a throw of 30’2.5” and Kaley Lempke took fifth in the 100 meter dash in a time of :14.04. The Shuttle Hurdle Relay, with Bailey Cavanaugh, Jamie Klepper, Elsie How and Melanie Vote, took fifth with a time of 1:29.39. Sara Berte would round out the placings for the Lady Wolverines with a sixth place finish in the 3000 meter run from her finishing time of 13;42.81
