Lady E-Hawks Finish Third At Okoboji
MILFORD – A day’s delay didn’t seem to bother Emmetsburg’s Lady E-Hawks as they took third place honors at the Okoboji Relays on Tuesday.
Emmetsburg had 99 points, finishing behind Sioux Central and Spirit Lake Park.
Blake Schany would take second in the 400 hurdles with a 1:10.59 time and the Shuttle Hurdle Relay took second in 1:13.60.
The Sprint Medley was third in a time of 2:01.06, while the Distance Medley finished in 4:39.19 for a third place finish. Both the 4×100 and the 4×200 relays took third place honors, with the 4×100 finishing in :53.28 and the 4×200 finishing in 1:54.09. The 4×800 relay also took third place honors, finishing in a time of 11:44.53.
Morgan Vlasman would earn third in the high jump, clearing 4’8”, while Nicole Leuer took third in the long jump, leaping 14’5.25”. Rachael Moore finished third in the 1500 meter run with a 5”21.73 time and also took third in the 800 meter run with a 2:32.85.
Whitney Kibbie finished third in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of :17.05 and Alyson Berven finished fourth in the hurdles in :17.85. Kaity Degen earned a fourth place finish in the long jump, as she leaped 13’11.75” and Kaitlin Weisbrod finished fourth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:07.91.
Jordan Kerber took fourth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of :12.86 and the 4×400 relay earned a fourth place finish in a time of 4:33.24, while Shelby Brindley placed fifth in the 800 meter run in a time of 2:36.35.
Nichole Hasbrouck finished fifth in the discus, throwing the platter 100’10”. Alyson Berven would finish eighth in the 100 meter dash with a :13.73 clocking and Whitney Kibbie placed ninth in the 200 meter dash with a time of :29.80.
Hillary Pico earned a ninth place finish in the shot put throwing 28’ and Kinsey Anderson would finish ninth in the discus, throwing 71’2”.
Rounding out the finishes for the Lady E-Hawks was Molli Schmeling in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:12.70.
