Raider Golfers Earn Split

RUTHVEN – The Ruthven-Ayrshire Raider golf squads earned a split in a dual with Clay Central-Everly on Friday. In the girls action, the Raiders collected a 245-252 win over the Lady Mavericks, but in the boys contest, it was Clay Central-Everly taking the win over the Raiders.

For the Ruthven-Ayrshire girls, Kayla Dyer was the runner-up medalist on the day with her round of 57, a stroke behind CC-E?Courthey Cronk with a 56.

Other scores for Ruthven-Ayrshire included a 61 for Megan Alexander and Kara Gerdeman, while Kendra Feldman carded a 66 and Mackenzie Fay shot a 69.

In the boys contest, Clay Central-Everly captured both the medalist and runner up honors with a 39 and 43.

Leading the way for Ruthven-Ayrshire’s boys was Logan Fischer, who carded a 50. Dylan Fischer added a round of 53, while Trevor Halder and Ryan Sikora both shot rounds of 56 and Brandon Long added a 63 to the final tally for the Raiders.
