WBM/TRV?Boys Fourth At CCE
WEST?BEND – A fourth place finish was the result for the West Bend-Mallard/Twin River Valley boys as they competed Friday at the Clay Central-Everly Maverick Relays.
Leading the way for the Wolverines was the Medley relay, with Mitch Bonnstetter, Logan Streit, Tanner Bruellman and Aaron Montag, who took second place with their time of 4:05.
Also taking second place honors was the 4×100 relay, with Ethan Fehr, Logan Streit, Tanner Bruellman and Mitch Bonnstetter, with a :48.1 clocking.
The 4×800 relay, with Jack Riesenberg, Aaron Montag, Dustin Johnson and Collin Thatcher was third with a 9:36, while the 4×200, with Fehr, Streit, Bruellman and bonnstetter taking third with a 1:42 clocking.
Ethan Fehr was third in the 100 dash with an :11.7 effort and Jack Riesenberg finished the 1600 meter run in 5:16 for third place honors.
The shuttle hurdle relay, with Jack Riesenberg, Ben Jacobson, Jordan Knobloch and Sean Riesenberg, was fourth in a time of 1:14, while Sean Riesenberg was fourth in the 110 hurdles with a :19.2 effort. Mitch Bonnstetter took fourth in the 400 meter dash with a :56.5 effort and the 4×400 relay, with Kurt Banwart, Ashton Fehr, Justin Christensen and Jordan Knobloch, turned in a 4:11 time for fifth place honors.
“I was happy with our times as they showed improvement from our last meet,” noted Head Coach Jerry Vanderhorst. “We still have a long way to got, but its’ encouraging to see just about everyone improving their times.”
