Knight Girls Gain Revenge Over CC-E

GRAETTINGER – The Knight girls of Graettinger/Terril collected a big revenge victory last Thursday evening over Clay Central-Everly with a 47-23 win.

The first half of the contest at Graettinger was tightly fought, with the two teams matching buckets but G/T held a 10-8 lead after the first quarter and 17-15 lead at the break. The Knights went on to lead 33-20 after three quarters and went on to take the 47-23 final victory.

Tasha Neilson picked up a double-double with 18 points to lead the Knights and 10 rebounds. Morgan Matthews added 12 points. Lindsay Flaharty scored nine points, while Maddy Schany came up with six markers and Dakota Hovinga rounded out the effort with two points.

Lindsay Flaharty dished out seven assists and Tasha Neilson made six steals.

“It was a tight game for the first half,”?noted Head Coach Roger Conway. “In the second half, we came out and played good defense and had a nice offensive flow.”
