RA?Girls Fall At Armstrong-Ringsted
RUTHVEN – The Ruthven-Ayrshire Raider girls came up short in a 45-25 loss to Armstrong-Ringsted Tuesday night to start the second half of the basketball season.
It was tough to get any offensive flow for the Raiders against Armstrong-Ringsted’s defense in the contest, as the Raiders would trail the entire contest.
Sadie Forey would provide the offensive firepower for Ruthven-Ayrshire, as she would score 12 points in the contest. Caitlyn Reed added six points, while newcomer Faith Schmidt added four points. Alesha Sikora chipped in two points and Keely Williamson added a free throw.
Sadie Forey collected nine rebounds and made two steals, while Alesha Sikora, Caitlyn Reed and Shyanne Zaragoza all grabbed three rebounds. Keely Williamson and Faith Schmidt both made two steals, while Alesha Sikora handed out two assists.
Ruthven-Ayrshire is slated to host Laurens-Marathon tonight (Thursday) weather permitting, and then travels of Bode to take on Twin River Valley on Friday night.
