Knights Victorious At Harris-Lake Park
GRAETTINGER – The Knights of Graettinger/Terril withstood a furious second-half rally by Harris-Lake Park to record a 51-45 win over the Wolves Tuesday night.
Graettinger/Terril would open with a 14-8 lead after one quarter and posted a 21-16 advantage at the intermission, and went on to take a 33-26 lead at the end of the third quarter. But in the final frame, Harris-Lake Park made a run at the Knights, cutting the deficit to a bucket, only to see the Knights were able to hit some late free throws to allow them to protect their lead and earn the victory.
Cody Dyhrkopp led the Knights with 16 points, while Colin Leiting added 14 markers and Beau Craig came away with 10 points for very balanced scoring. The Knights also got six points from Cody Chapman and five points from Eric Hatland in the winning effort.
Defensively, Eric Hatland collected six rebounds, with Cody Chapman grabbing four boards and dishing out four assists. Cody Dyhrkopp added five steals.
The Knights travel to WCLT on Friday night.
