G/T?Girls Fall After Slow Start

GRAETTINGER – It seemed colder on the court than outdoors in the first half for the Graettinger/Terril girls in a 54-29 loss to Harris-Lake Park Tuesday night. The Knights were outscored 31-10 in the first half to drop their second half opener on the road.

The Knights were doubled up, 24-12, after the first quarter and trailed 39-16 at the intermission, but got their offense somewhat back on track in the second half, trailing 46-20 at the end of the third quarter. In the final quarter, G/T would add nine points to finish with the 54-29 final.

Dakota Hovinga would lead Graettinger/Terril with 10 points, while Tasha Neilson added eight points. Amanda Oleson chipped in four points, with Lindsay Flaharty, Morgan Matthews and Maddy Schany all adding two points and Tiffany Harris hitting a free throw.

Tasha Neilson would collect 10 rebounds, while Amanda Oleson dished out four assists.
