ARMSTRONG – The Knights of Graettinger/Terril suffered a let down in one quarter to fall to Armstrong-Ringsted Friday night by a 38-35 tally..

Graettinger/Terril struggled on offense to find support for senior Tasha Neilson, who would finish the night with 19 points to lead her team.

“Our girls played a strong defensive game,” said G/T coach Roger Conway. “Our offense was smoother than in the opener. We got good looks at the basket, but were just unable to consistently make it.”

After Neilson’s 19 point effort, Mariah Girres and Morgan Matthews both had four points, while Dakota Hovinga, Lindsay Flaharty, Amanda Oleson and Tiffany Harris all had two points.

Tasha Neilson and Lindsay Flaharty both pulled down six rebounds in the defensive effort for Graettinger/Terril, who fell to 0-2 with the setback.
