WHITTEMORE – An Emmetsburg athlete captured the championship in the varsity girls division of last week’s North Central Conference Cross Country Meet.

Erin Reedy, a freshman at Bishop Garrigan High School in Algona, won the conference meet in her first effort, completing the run in a time of 15:55,

Reedy is the daughter of Dr. Dan and Jean Reedy.
