Emmetsburg’s Lady E’Hawks continue to look for the elusive first win in Lakes Conference net action at falling to Storm Lake last week 3-0. The Tornadoes swept the Lady E’Hawks Tuesday night by scores of 22-25, 14-25 and 17-25.

Paige Naig would make 16 of 19 hits with four kills and add a dig, while Chelsey Rouse added 18 of 18 hits with three kills and six digs. Jordan Morris had 15 of 17 hits with six kills, made six digs and connected on seven of nine serves with two aces.

Morgan Vlasman would add 14 of 18 hits with five kills, andtwo digs, while Nicole Leuer had eight of eight serves with two aces and added 13 of 17 hits with two kills, along with six digs.

Nikki Schany added three of four hits with a kill, whie Molli Schmeling made 11 of 11 serves with one hit an done kill and dug out nine shots.

Hannah Drost made seven of nie serves, dished out 10 assistas and dug out 11 shots, while Hillary Pico had nien of 10 serves with seven digs and two assists. Jordan Kerber added six of seven serves with three digs and handed out seven assists.

After playing in Saturday’s ELC Tournament, the Lady E’Hawks return to Conference play tonight (Tuesday) with a match at Spencer and then return home on Thursday night to host Western Christian of Hull.
