Emmetsburg’s E’Hawk Freshmen football team earned a 54-6 win over Western Christian of Hull in action Monday, Sept. 28. The win improves the young E’Hawks to 5-0 on the season.

Emmetsburg took a 46-0 halftime lead and never looked back in taking the win.

Andrew Wellik would rush for 240 yards and four touchdowns. Jake Jackson added a TD and recovered a fumble for a TD. Cody Henderson added a TD, as did Mitch Peterson.

TRevor Ring, Tony Reding and Jake Jackson led the defense in tackles. Tyler Leuer recovered a fumble while Austin McCartan and Wellik forced fumbles and Henderson recorded an interception.
