Raiders Dealt Setback In Loss

RUTHVEN – A 40-yard field goal by senior Ryan Sikora would the only scoring for the Ruthven-Ayrshire Raiders in a 54-3 loss to North Sentral Kossuth on Friday night. The loss gives the Raiders a 1-1 district mark and 1-3 overall mark on the season.

“NSK is just a very good football team,” noted RA?Head Coach Larry Swingen. “Our kids never quit playing and they gave their all. We have to put this game behind us and prepare for West Bend-Mallard this Friday night.”

For the Raiders, Zach Loring would rush 47 yards off 13 carries, while Trevin Enderson had 26 yards on three rushes. Calvin Pomeroy had three carries for 18 yards and Kyle Toillion had two carries for 18 yards. Michael Sundall added three runs for seven yards.

Trevin Enderson attempted seven passes with no completions as the Raiders earned 102 yards of rushing offense.

On defense, Enderson would have 13 tackles while Michael Sundall added 12 stops Zach Loring had eight stops and Jimmie Sledd added seven tackles.
