WBM Handed 53-14 Loss
ARMSTRONG – Armstrong-Ringsted opened up a 39-0 halftime lead and had their way with the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines in a 53-14 contest Friday night. The loss leaves the Wolverines still searching for their first win of the season, as they fall to 0-3 on the year and 0-1 in Eight-Man District Two.
The Wolverines had no answer defensivley for Armstrong-Ringsted quarter bak Tyler Tonderum, who ran for 208 yards Friday night.
West Bend-Mallard would come up with a pair of scores in the contest, coming off a touchdown run by Andy Riesenberg and a touchdown reception by Todd Goeders.
Overall, the Wolverines were able to rack up 170 yards rushing offense off 46 attempts, while quarterback Etha Fehr completed six of 14 passes for 36 yards.
Andy Risenberg earned 91 yards off 24 carries in the contest, while Jack Risenberg gained 60 yards in eight carries. Ethan Fehr carried the ball 14 times and gained 19 yards in the effort.
Todd Goeders would make two catches for 17 yards, while Jake Goodchild added two catches for 17 yards and Andy Risenberg had two receptions for six yards.
Defensively, Tanner Bruelleman had seven tackles, while Collin Thatcher added four stops.
