The E’Hawks and Lady E’Hawks will return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 1, when they compete in the Spirit Lake Invitational, which will run over the Brooks National Golf Course.

“It’s always good to get the first meet of the season out of the way so you get a good measure of where you’re at,”?noted Emmetsburg Cross Country Coach Dan Dooley. “The kids got to run against competition, and even though it was pretty hot and humid to run in, I?thought they all gave good efforts. Now we’ll work on picking up some time and continue to improve as the season continues.”
