John Gannon of Emmetsburg scored the first hole-in-one of his golfing career during men’s league on July 1. He was playing with John Spies, Ken Curry and Pat Kliegl.
The ball hit the green, rolled eight to ten feet, and went right in, according to the group. “We were saying, ‘that could go in!'”
Using a seven wood and Top Flight ball on hole number eight, Gannon hit 154 yards for the ace. He scored a 47 for the day.
