The Palo Alto Gun Club will sponsor a cookout for league shooters on Wednesday nights of the fifth and ninth weeks.

This year the Palo Alto Gun Club is pleased to be utilizing automatic voice release on both trap houses. A new trap and an automatic voice release system for the east house were purchased and installed with funding by a grant from the Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation.

All residents of Palo Alto County and the surrounding area are invited and encouraged to join a trap shooting team for the summer league. Leagues are currently forming, and some still have openings for shooters. Anyone interested does not need to be an experienced shooter to participate. Experienced shooters are available and willing to instruct and train new shooters. Special emphasis is to get younger shooters interested in the sport. In addition, a four-week mini-league is planned for the month of August to accommodate new shooters as well.
