Lady E’Hawks Fifth At Okoboji Relays
MILFORD – Emmetsburg’s Lady E’Hawks earned a fifth place finish at Monday’s Okoboji Relays in Milford.
Kayla Herbers would pick up a championship in the 200 meter dash for the Lady E’Hawks, with her time of :25.92. Mollie Smith earned second overall in the 100 meter dash with a :12.83 time and the 4×200 relay, with Mollie Smith, Maddison Woodruff, Katie Malm and Kayla Herbers, took second with 1:15.40.
The Shuttle Hurdle Relay, with Nicole Leuer, Katie Malm, Bailee Moore and Kayla Herbers also earned second place honors with a 1:08.93 time.
Blake Schany placed third in the 400 hurdles with a 1:12.29 and Nicole Leuer took third in the 100 high hurldes with a time of :16.89. Katelyn schanz placed fourth in the discus, throwing 102’7” and Jordan Kerber took fourth in the 100 meter dash with a :13.06 effort The 4×400 relay, Tacee Leebens, Kaitlin Weisbrod, Blake schanz and Bailee Moore, was fourth in 4:30.72 and the Sprint Medley, with Smith, Kerber, Malm and Kaity Degen, finished fourth in 2:00.16.
Aleysha Schutz was fifth in the 400 dash with a 1:07.19 time, while Rachael Moore took sixth in the 1500 meter run with a 5:41.75 time. Morgan Vlasman took sixth in the high jump with a 4’8″ and Alyson Berven was sixth in the 400 meter run in 1:17.89 and the Distance Medley, with Bailee Moore, Leebens, Degen and Blake schanz, took sixth in 4:49.44 while the 4×800 relay, with Katie Kassel, Hannah Reichert, Marlit Schardt and Barbara Arana finished sixth in 12:17.65.
Kaitlin Weisbrod placed seventh in the 400 meter dash with a 1:08.35, while Tayler Bruns took seventh in the 3000 meter run with a 14:47.37 effort and Jordan Morris placed seventh in the 100 hurdles with a :17.42 time and Mariah Andreasen placed seventh in the high jump, clearing 4’4.
