WBM/TRV?Thinclads Run At Spirit Lake
WEST?BEND – West Bend-Mallard/Twin River Valley’s Wolverines competed well at the Iowa Great Lakes Invitational on Tuesday in Spirit Lake.
The Wolverines were led by the second place finish of Jack Riesenberg in the1600 meter run with his time of 5:02.6. Clay Douglas earned third place in the long jump, leaping 19′ 1/2“.
The Medley relay of Douglas, Logan Streit, Mitch Bonnstetter and Jack Riesenberg was fourth with a 4:13.9, while the 4×800 relay of Collin Thatcher, Tom Putensen, Phil Roethler and Jordan Knobloch were fifth in 10:34.
WBM/TRV’s 4×200 relay of Mitch Bonnstetter, Logan Streit, Aaron Johnson and Sean Riesenberg, took fifth in a 1:49 clocking.
The shuttle hurdle relay of Jack Riesenberg, Tom Putensen, Aaron Johnson and Sean Riesenberg, also placed fifth in a time of 1:17.
The 4×100 relay of Clay Douglas, Logan Streit, Sean Riesenberg and Mitch Bonnstetter took sixth place in a time of :50.5 and the 4×400 relay, comprised of Collin Thatcher, Jack Riesenberg, Tom Putensen and Sean Riesenberg, finished sixth with a 4:10 clocking.
“Overall we competed fairly well. Clay Douglas had a nice meet with a third place in the long jump and a couple of good legs on the relays,” noted WBM/TRV?Boys Track Coach Jerry Vanderhorst.
