E’Hawks Second In Triangular

SPENCER – Emmetsburg’s E’Hawks placed second in a triangular with Spencer and Pocahontas Area/Pomeroy-Palmer on Friday afternoon.

Spencer would win the outing with a 150, while Emmetsburg had a 160 and Pocahontas Area/Pomeroy-Palmer?shot a 180.

Spencer’s Jay Monahan and Craig Cunningham took the medal and runner-up medal honors with their rounds of 36 and 37.

For Emmetsburg, Matt Wellik led the efforts with his round of 49. Ben McCain and Matt Ballman both shot rounds of 40, while Robbie Myers carded a 41. Tyler Kliegl shot a 43 and Ryan Kliegl shot a round of 52.

In the Junior Varsity portion of the triangular, Spencer would win with a 168, while Emmetsburg carded a 184 and Pocahontas Area/Pomeroy-Palmer shot a 238. Zach Carlson of Spencer was medalist with a 42 and teammate Jordan Ottman was runner-up with a 42.

For the E’Hawk JV, Arthur Heldt was the low man with his round of 43. Eric Pelzer shot a 45 and Nate Brown added a 46. Tyler Clasing shot a round of 50 and Tyler Drost rounded out the effort with his round of 52.

The e’Hawks played Monday at Storm Lake and will travel to Spirit Lake t Saturday, April 25, to play in the Spirit Lake Invite.
